Mosteiro de Santa Clara-a-Velha localiza-se na margem esquerda do rio Mondego, perto da Baixa da cidade de Coimbra.
A vida do Mosteiro ficou marcada, ao longo dos séculos, por sucessivos alagamentos provocados pelas cheias do Mondego, 
eu própria quando fui estudar para Coimbra conheci o Mosteiro
alagado, com água a meio de altura.
Agora com as obras, está tudo a descoberto sendo um belo espaço para passar uma tarde agradável!
